Today, I had a grand plan. In case you don't know, New York on a Sunday is my favorite day of the week.

Why you ask? Because it's free parking day! And I can go anywhere at all without worrying about running out of time.

So I convinced Adam it was a good idea to go out for dinner downtown, and after finishing our work we got all dressed up and went... nowhere.

It went a little something like, "You had the keys yesterday, right?"

"Yeah, they're right over... uh oh."

So after a half hour of looking for the keys and the temperature dropping about 20 degrees, I decided it would be way

more fun to have make-your-own-pizza night at home. And I was right!

And since no post is complete without a picture, here's a blast from the past. This is a picture Adam shot from our very first wedding ever.

I have to admit, I remember being just the tiniest bit jealous...

I am such a winter person, but looking back on these pictures makes me just the tiniest bit eager for some warm weather.

This farm is one of my absolute favorite spots to photograph, proving that nature really is the best back drop!

Give me these kind of days all summer, and I'll be a happy girl.

Some brides do their own makeup the morning of their wedding. Some brides make their own breakfast and drive themselves to

the church. And then, some brides make their own cake, and decide to ice it the morning of their wedding at the venue.

World, meet Alejandra. Well, meet her shoes and bouquet first...

Did I mention she made that too?

And after a morning of running around and putting finishing touches together, Alejandra and her girls went upstairs to get ready.

The Metropolitan Building is full of gorgeous backgrounds everywhere you turn.

Alejandra and Eugene have some serious class. They decided to see each other before

the ceremony, and it felt like watching two lovebirds in old Hollywood.

But the best part? Catching about three seconds of gorgeous window light before the sun went down!

Also, I can't forget to mention one of the most pleasant wedding planners I've come across yet.

Kate from Green Apple Weddings was a super star, and kept the whole day on track. Thank you, miss!

Perfection.

I only have one exciting gem for you today, but it's a good one! If you live in the New York area and have been secretly wanting to meet us, this

is your chance. We've been invited on board the Atlantica next Sunday, January 16th for a meet and greet with engaged couples all day from 1pm to 6pm.

The ship will be docked at Chelsea Piers, and they'll be serving up hors d' oeuvres and champagne to anyone lucky enough to attend.

You can RSVP here, but you only have until Friday. I know everyone's schedules are a little crazy these days, but I look forward to

meeting those of you who can make it out. Bonus points if you're there just to see us!

About half way through the ceremony, I saw him look over at her and smile.

He knows what makes her tick and she knows how to make him laugh, and two people this connected finding

each other in this giant city is certainly no accident! Morgan and Farhan, thank you so much for letting us be your photographers.

It was a great (and freezing!) day, and it was beautiful to see all your friends and family gather for such a big event.

Internet, meet Scarlet the Wonder Dog.

This little beauty queen is responsible for our soon-to-be new web site upgrades.

Her papa and I decided to trade creative services, and I clearly got the easier part of this deal.

I drove down and met them in New Brunswick a couple weeks ago. We trotted through the forest and

ended up in the bleachers . She was very excited about thee whole ordeal, up until the wardrobe change...

Happy Saturday!

First off, Michelle and Dylan, you planned a seriously gorgeous day. From the minute I walked onto the grounds

I could see, hear and feel the excitement on everyone's part.

I think when you're surrounded by smiling, happy and loving people all day, as a photographer it makes your job that much easier.

So in these terms, we absolutely had an easy day!

And to top it off, after the ceremony we got to wander around the side of a mountain and make pictures out

of a fairy tale. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
